So, it may or may not be accurate. Still, at least we know that this is the
talented man whose voice gave life to our favourite characters like Hotohori (Fushigi
yuugi), Aya (Weiß Kreuz), Zech (Gundam Wing), Oliver (Geslat), Takahashi
Ryousuke (Initial D), Hanagata (SMJ), Rezo (Slayers), John Jockmond (Spriggan),
Sandra (Wedding Peach), Pulse (Twin Signal)... etc etc. He is known by thousands
of fans as a walking aphrodisiac because of the irresistible manly & soulful
voice, which he so naturally possesses. Throughout his years as a seiyuu (voice
actor), he has produced his own works and music as well as his own radio show,
Game Dra, which was sadly recently closed after 5 years of broadcasting.
Nevertheless, we know that he had successfully made a second season of his
brainchild, Weiß Kreuz. But what we as fans often wonder, what is the real man
behind the Koyasu Takehito whom we admired so much?

Koyasu Takehito's 10 years of happy childhood life was changed forever when his father died an untimely death. This had a permanent effect on him as a schoolboy who has to cope to have a life without a father despite how brave his mother was. He admitted once that he was a juvenile delinquency and was involved in a fight that nearly killed someone (thank goodness, no one died) Still, he attended school regularly and joined seiyuu classes as it was his dream to become a seiyuu after being inspired by the movie, Galaxy Express 999. After graduating from a technical high school, he proceeded on to fulfill his dream. After hard work and determination, Koyasu Takehito became a professional seiyuu with hits like Gundam W and Fushigi yuugi. However, fame comes with a price. After watching a TV show when a famous singer was confronted with pictures of her younger days, Koyasu Takehito became frightened of being confronted with pictures of his delinquency days. So, he spent his entire energy collecting every single photos from everybody, even from his closest friends and had them completely destroyed!! You might find him too paranoid about it but it's definitely an effective way of protecting oneself against the gossiping tongues of the media.
So far, Koyasu Takehito had already have 3 solo albums under his belt - Water, Mary & a kitten and the latest, Zazel's first album. In most of his seiyuu works, Koyasu Takehito is often associated with his villain roles or roles which the characters are stone-cold, anti-social, emotionless, lonely and sometimes, bitter. That can't be helped as he often linked the characters with memories of his childhood. Plus, he believes that there must be reasons for a person to become a villain. After all, nobody is born evil. On the other hand, Koyasu Takehito is also capable of being soft, warm, gentle which he so greatly portrayed in Fushigi Yuugi's Hotohori. Not only that, he also had a song named 'A tiny little song' in the album, Mary & Kitten, which he used to sing to his children during bedtime. Sigh! Imagine how heavenly is it to have him singing bedtime songs to you! Sigh!! His kids are DAMN lucky!! In addition, Koyasu Takehito is capable of doing not-his-style characters like SMJ's Hanagata or Gatekeepers' Bancho. We, the fans, may weep for him doing such roles but he still earned our admiration for being able to do such a lavish variety of characters
Yet, Koyasu Takehito is very fond of doing characters which involved wearing bizarre Jrock style costumes or being gothic himself! Still, this is what makes him so attractive!!! Most fans noticed that he is very fond of having roses that are strategically placed and having a naked female mannequin during his concerts. Oh! by the way, readers, Koyasu Takehito like women with short hair, small butt and chest. So, you can have a rough idea of how his wife might look like... ^____ ^
Another thing that made him so intriguing to fans was that most of his characters are often connected with yaoi (gay) fics! Mmmm... this would be a mystery that will never be solved. One most distinctive fact is that Koyasu Takehito and Seki Tomozaku have been working together in 1000 animations, not to mention, singing together and even doing a mini skit. Based on their close friendship, you can imagine a lot of filthy thoughts that some of his fans would have! Nevertheless, they are the best combination when their voices are united. Not only has Koyasu Takehito worked with Seki but with other seiyuus like Hikaru Midorikawa, Yuuki Hiro, Miki Shinichirou, Megumi Hayashibara...
So, what else do we, the fans, know of him besides being cold, warm, gothic, angelic or as a great seiyuu, a husband, a father and an idol to some? Unfortunately, we will not be able to know much more of him since his private life has been heavily sealed from us. But at least, we do know one thing. His late father would be very proud of him and so are we!
